Whether it’s a part of your weekly beauty regimen, an occasional indulgence or styling for a special occasion, our expert stylists are poised to pamper you and primp your hair to perfection.
Who says your locks should only look their most luscious after you’ve spent hours and oodles on a color and cut? The stylists of Parlor believe you deserve to look and feel your best anytime and all the time. So we’ve taken the luxury of the salon experience and shifted the focus on affordable blowouts and styling.
Parlor Blow Dry Bar opened as a way to fill a huge void in the Raleigh, NC beauty industry. Co-Owners Emily Christian Cutts and Allison Rohde Conley joined forces and used their extensive business experience, creativity, and passion to create Raleigh’s first blow dry bar. Soon after opening their first location, they were inundated with requests to expand the Parlor brand throughout the south. Now, Emily and Allison are thrilled to spread the Parlor love far and wide.
Parlor’s motto, “Get In, Get Gorgeous, Get Going,” embraces the speedy, easy, and convenient nature of its signature services. Blow Dry Bars have quickly become one of the hottest, most affordable luxuries in the beauty industry. With no cuts or coloring, the concept of only washing, drying, and styling provides an efficient and attainable way to keep hair healthy and on-trend. Blow Dry Bars are dominating the multibillion-dollar market segment and continue to rise in popularity.
Parlor Blow Dry Bar is not only committed to the exponential expansion of their business but also to positively impacting their surrounding communities. Parlor regularly organizes special events, classes, and fundraisers to support local businesses and charities. Parlor also maintains a commitment to keeping its employees incredibly happy. Emily and Allison made it a priority early on to make sure their stylists had access to continued training, incentives, and unique experiences that have truly set Parlor apart from the competition. Parlor stylists regularly participate in fashion shows and photo shoots in order to showcase their skills and creativity.
Emily Christian Cutts
Ever since Emily Cutts first put her tiny feet in her mom’s heels she knew she was destined for a career in fashion and beauty. This Wilmington native followed her affection for style and design all the way to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she majored in studio art. After graduation, Emily moved to New York to work as a Fabric Coordinator at Tory Burch. But after a few years in the Big Apple, Emily grew home sick for her home state, so she moved back to North Carolina and took a job at Raleigh Denim as the Assistant Designer. Today, Emily is taking her well-honed eye for style and applying it in new ways to make Raleigh residents better coiffed and more confident at Parlor Blow Dry Bar.
